Welcome to the 2008 catalogue. ORIEL was started in 1983 by Theo Wyatt and in 1995 transferred to his daughter, Cathy Gaskell. Since its conception it has been successfully providing the amateur recorder player with a source of interesting consort music at an attractive price.

For the first time in many years we now have only recorder music in our catalogue. This is because stocks of the voice and viol music have run low and there is insufficient demand to do more print runs. We do, however, have some stock left on the shelves so if you are interested in buying some please contact us.

We have 7 new titles for recorders. It is over two years since the last catalogue was produced, and it will probably be as long again before the next after this one. We have therefore had to consider the ever-rising cost of materials and particularly postage, and so we have increased the price of our music accordingly. However, we wish to preserve our reputation for delivering superb value-for-money so the rise has been kept as small as possible. There are generous discounts on larger orders (see shopping basket)
